New Arrival at ARPC
Most of you might think I am writing about our new interim pastor who has been with us a few weeks. But unfortunately I haven’t had the chance to meet him as I was in the nursery. No, the new arrival that I am speaking about is Madi Grace. I knew I had nursery this week, but I did not know that Madi Grace would be coming to church. Cooper’s little sister, Madi Grace, was born late last year and is only a few weeks old. She still has the form of a newborn; she is all folded up into a little ball with her arms and legs tuck in. You can see how she slept for the past nine months. I was amazed at her perfection. She has such tiny hands, such soft eyes that studied my face, she has such a sweet little smile. I held her the entire service (and it was communion Sunday). I did offer one time to let Kim Jackson hold her, but she was busy with the toddlers. Selfish as I am, I confess I did not offer again. I had her all to myself and she was so peaceful and slept most of the hour.
You have got to sign up for the nursery so you can get your chance to hold our new arrival – Madi Grace, newest child of God at Albemarle Road Presbyterian Church.
